International - Student Profiles
My mother used to live in London and studied English at our College and I found that her progress in studying English was so impressive. That is the main reason why I decided to come here. All my teachers are very experienced in teaching English and when I don’t understand something they explain everything clearly to me. I have been given an opportunity to have a global understanding from studying English with my classmates from all over the world. I believe this experience would be useful in my future career.

‘I heard that this college is one of the best colleges in the UK offering lots of course options with many students from all over the world so you have to speak English all the time which is what I wanted. Some colleges have too many Spanish speakers so it’s hard to get involved in an English environment.’
Gabriel (Colombia)
English as a Foreign Language and IELTS Preparation Classes
I heard about the College from my brother who was also studying here. Support from the teachers and equipment available is so much better than the other colleges. Studying in this country gives you freedom and develops your skills and ability to do independent study which we don’t have in Hong Kong.

This course has helped me to understand the work culture in the UK and given me a lot of knowledge on European and International cuisine. It has made my market value as a chef higher. I worked as a Commis Chef at The Thistle Hotel where I was awarded employee of the month and I also received a Customer Satisfaction Award. Now I am working as a Demi Chef De Partie at The Hilton Hyde Park Hotel.
