Media & Multimedia
At our specialist media centre, you will learn to develop your practical and theoretical skills in Media Studies. You will examine how the media is constructed to put forward particular points of view and produce certain meanings, analyse a range of media forms and gain experience creating your own web pages, video productions and printed materials. You will develop a show reel and portfolio of work which w ill help you gain employment in the future, or to progress onto higher education.
Our students regularly participate in work experience that gives them the opportunity to work with media professionals on real ‘live’ projects. We also have extensive links with media agencies in the lively and exciting German cities of Berlin and Leipzig.
Gaining experience of a range of cultural contemporary events is important for anyone interested in a career in the arts, design or media. We organise a broad range of enrichment trips to give our students up-to-date knowledge and foster a passion for the creative industry.
